The Challenge

Manufacturing company with U.S. and Canadian operations facing payroll instability.

Our Role

  •  Move from EV5 in USA and Workforce Now in Canda to GlobalView (SAP Payroll).
  •  Moved payroll operations from USA to Mexico.
  •  Minimal documentation and training.
  •  WFM and Payroll issues post implementation.

Work Delivered

  •  Reviewed issued issue logs and setup documentation where available.
  •  Review implementation documentation requirements against setup.
  •  Manually calculated T4 and W2s and adjusted as needed.
  •  Identified issues with configuration.
  •  Worked with ADP to determine root cause of issues.
  •  Worked with payroll team to correct processing errors and update documentation.
  •  Fixed WFM / time issues.

The Outcome

  •  Reissued T4s and W2 corrections before filing deadlines.
  •  Correct eligible earnings for retirements savings plans for USA and CAN.
  •  Documented payroll / WFM setup & mapping and trained payroll team.
  •  Fixed configuration issues both in WFM and Payroll system.
  •  Fixed integration issues and logic.
  •  Fixed Regular Rate of Pay calculation (USA) and taxation (USA and CAN).
  •  Created adjustments, updated processes / RACI.
